Patricia Pérez Rumpler, Barcelona (Madrid, 1971). She directs the Unidad de Paisajismo of the Diputación de Barcelona, she is a lecturer for the Masters d’Arquitectura del Paisatge of the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Arquitectura de Barcelona, and collaborates privately with architecture and landscape studies in Barcelona as well as abroad. Amongst which Agence B+P (Perpignan, France). She graduated in 1995 from the Universität Bodenkultur of Vienna in “Landschaftsplanung und Landschaftsgestaltung” (Landscape Planning and Landscape Architecture) and in 1997 she was awarded the “Máster d’Arquitectura del Paisatge” from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Since then right up until 2000 she collaborated as a researcher in the Centre de Recerca i Projectes de Paisatge directed by Rosa Barba of the UPC. She is currently coordinating the maintenance of the green areas and gardens of the Diputació de Barcelona, drawing up requalification and restructuring plans for these very areas as well as accomplishing landscape and territorial studies for the cities of the province. She participates in various editorial projects, amongst which the coordination and editing of the book Garden Design (Ed. TeNeues) and is co-author of the trilogy Analogías, Arquitectura Vegetal, Animal y Mineral en la Arquitectura Contemporánea (Ed.Parramon).
