Laurence Vacherot, Paris. She is graduated as DPLG landscapist from the l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Versailles in 1979. From 1975 to 1977 she was in charge of the project at the API landscape cooperative and in 2000 she collaborated with the Commission on the Oise landscape. In 1981 she founded the landscape study LATITUDE NORTH with Gilles Vexlard, which is specialised in urban planning, works of conception and accomplishing of large spaces and landscapes, development plans, urban structure and definition, and planning at various levels in different contexts (sports fields, secondary schools, schools, city gardens). She is in charge of directing numerous projects, amongst which: bathing centre of the Port aux Cerises park in Draveil, Essonne (National Landscape Grand award, 2009), Rhine Park in Munich (First International Award of Urban Landscape in 2006; First Prize BDLA – German Landscape Architecture Award in 2005), Halle de la Glisse and of the Sports Park in Lille South (North) – Soreli.
