Jeppe Aagaard Andersen, Hellebæk. After the degree at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen he worked as architect, landscape architect and artist. He led many workshops at the UWA (University of Western Australia) and he was visiting professor at the University of Birmingham and the University of Lund, where he currently teaches in the Sustainable Urban Design Course. From 1990 to 2008 he was director of the Danish Landskab Magazine, from 2002 to 2006 he was Vice President of IFLA (International Federation of Landscape Architects) and director of the department IFLA Central Region: Europe, Africa, Middle East and Russia. He received international awards, particularly the Eckersberg Medal in 2004 and the Heritage Europa Nostra Award in 2000.
