Christ-Jan van Rooij, Doorwerth. He is director of VANRO2IJ landscape architecture. The studio is founded in 2013 with the goal to operate internationally in the field of landscape architecture. In the past seventeen years he gathered experience working and designing on projects at home and abroad, collaborating with very different people and a range of teams. In most of the project-cases he worked on complex city-centre projects. The focus in the projects was on design, building and cooperation with the political world and governmental arena, looking for an innovating solution for a place or an area. Christ-Jan van Rooij is tutoring at several educational institutes. He has taught at the Academie van Bouwkunst in Amsterdam, de Agricultural University of Wageningen (International Course Landscape architecture), School of Arts Utrecht and the Van Hall, Larenstein Institute in Velp.
